Denis and Ali have lived in the Sunshine Coast area for many years, both on the coast and in the Hinterland, but have also spent a lot of the last 15 years travelling and working overseas.
After a long stint in Malaysia, they spent some time in Europe running ski chalets in the Swiss and French Alps, followed by a year in Indonesia working for the Tsunami Relief Project in Banda Aceh with Australian Red Cross.
Early in 2009 they decided to find a business close to home where their work would also be a part of their lifestyle. They found Hunchy Hideaway and immediately fell in love with the environment, the beautiful cottages and the chance to live in a little bit of rainforest paradise in Montville.
They took over in June 2009 and are very much loving the lifestyle and the opportunity to share it with lots of interesting people.
