Why not revive your romance and get to know each other all over again - we've the perfect place for you to reconnect. Many fine restaurants are located nearby, or you can order a barbeque or seafood hamper and enjoy your evening meal outside by candlelight on your private verandah. You don't even have to leave your little piece of paradise! You could be miles from anywhere in your private rainforest retreat. Cool off in the pools and stream below Hunchy Hideaway’s own special waterfall, or duck down to the beach - it's only a short drive. We've divulged another of our favourite spots below- it is a great place to swim in this hot weather. Like Hunchy Hideaway and our own falls, shady trees make our hinterland streams and waterholes a little oasis in Summer. Make the most of long weekends coming up or treat your partner for Valentine's Day. Our country cottages are truly beautiful and represent great value - So check out our website or call us to plan your next romantic short break! Favourite Walks - Gardner's Falls Drive to the car park on the banks of the Obi Obi Creek, near Maleny. The shady track follows the bubbling Obi Obi creek and is a pleasant, level walk of about 300 metres. A favourite picnic spot, the largest pool is at the base of the falls and is most popular with swimmers, especially to cool down in Summer. It is a pretty spot with picnic tables and benches plus a small grassy area. The creek continues on to Baroon Pocket Dam and then eventually to the Mary River. This walk should take you less than 30 minutes, but you'll want to stop for a swim and play on the rocks. No wonder this is a favourite for wedding photos!
