Hi Everyone, We send a big congratulations to Julia and Leif. Here they are on their wedding day – if you are regulars of ours you may recognise them from our website and newsletters.

Our Hunchy Hideaway models returned to us recently for their honeymoon. We look forward to welcoming them back for other milestones in their married life! 

Spring has Sprung and the weather has been just beautiful. Term is almost over (again!) so you can recover and enjoy the school holidays without the children or paying the extra dollars. We have good availability from September 21 to October 8, so make the most of it!

It is a very arty time of year and all close by. September brings: Sunshine Coast Hinterland Open Studios, Montville (from 15th), Montville Artists on the Green (16th), Kenilworth Celebrates (22nd-29th) and Art on Cairncross (from 22nd).

Dining Out

All of our local restaurants serve delicious food – here are three close by we recommend:

Wild Rocket @ Misty’s - Situated in one of the most historic buildings in Montville, the former ‘Fancy Goods & Lolly Shop’ is now the perfect restaurant space, with many quirky nooks and crannies. Everything is made onsite, from pork sausages, breads, stock, sauces and even the jams and chutneys that are served with scones.

Montville Cafe, Bar & Grill  - They offer great food & entertainment, as well as a traditional Montville Pub atmosphere. Their master chef has created a menu designed to please all tastes and budgets. From succulent steaks to sensational seafood, mouthwatering desserts and much, much more!  Ask about the very popular courtesy bus.

Gypsy’s Table  - They offer a “global menu” with “old world charm”; steak, seafood, game and authentic curries plus a huge range of vegetarian and vegan options. The menu changes daily for lunch, and romantic candlelight alfresco dinners are the order in summer or enjoy dining by the fireplace in cooler months.
